We are currently seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care!
As an essential member of the perioperative team, the RN First Assistant (RNFA) plays a crucial role in providing direct patient care by assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. This position requires demonstrated expertise acquired through specialized training, formal education, and supervised practice.
Job Description:
SIGN-ON BONUS: $30,000 available to external candidates in accordance with Health System policy.
EDUCATION:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
  • RN-Registered Nurse of California.
  • CNOR-Certified Perioperative Nurse.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience as an RN in the Operating Room, encompassing both circulator and scrub roles.
