Job description

The Surgical First Assistant works in collaboration with the surgeon and other health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes and intraoperatively practices at the direction of the surgeon. Does not concurrently function as the scrub. When not working as an assistant will function as licensure/certification allows and as directed.Must be a RNFA, SA, CSFA or PA with proper licensure/certification Must be able to respond to the hospital in 30 minutes when on call.Must be a RNFA, SA, CSFA or PA with proper licensure/certification Must be able to respond to the hospital in 30 minutes when on call.
