Your Role

As a Technical Support Scientist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our global customer base, delivering expert application and technical support across transfection, electroporation, and nucleic acid delivery workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work hands-on in the laboratory to support customer and product application activities
  • Troubleshoot product performance issues and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge resources
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, and Production to relay customer insights, drive product improvements, and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Support the training and onboarding of new team members
  • Stay current with industry trends and scientific literature through ongoing interactions with researchers and life science suppliers
  • This position is located in Madison, WI and is full-time, on-site (with hybrid potential)

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or other life science discipline
  • 4+ years of wet lab and research experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a life science discipline
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture workflows, including transfection, electroporation, and viral transduction; strong familiarity with the cell and gene therapy (CGT) sector
  • 3+ years of experience in experimental design, scientific troubleshooting, and working independently in a laboratory setting (within the last 3 years)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, backed by 3+ years of experience delivering technical presentations, public speaking, or scientific messaging
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experienced in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to track workflows or customer data
  • Experience creating technical marketing materials, such as whitepapers, application notes, and scientific social media content
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% annually, including overnight stays

Pay Range for this position: $78,800 - $121,000 / annually

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
