Classroom Support Aide

$2,500 sign-on bonus


Do you have a passion to make a difference and positively impact young children and their families? At YCCAC Head Start, we are more than a daycare. We are committed to providing high-quality child care and comprehensive education, health and well-being services to children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We are now hiring a Classroom Support Aide to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.

What we offer:

  • $2,500 sign-on bonus payable in four installments ($500 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $1000 after 1 year – external applicants only).

Your role:

  • Playing with children.

Qualifications: 

  • Have a High School Diploma, GED or HSE equivalent.
  • Be open to completing a fully funded CDA course within one year of hire
  • Have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years; special needs (preferred).
  • Immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis). 
  • Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
