Job description

This position will report into the Residential Equipment Purchasing Department.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and manage purchase orders for residential equipment.
  • Maintain balanced inventory while staying within a given budget across 21 warehouses companywide for assigned product families.
  • Analyze sales trends, historical data, and seasonal demand to develop accurate forecasting and replenishment plans
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and processing of inbound shipments
  • Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records in the ERP system
  • Generate and review purchasing and inventory reports for management review
  • Support sales staff with product availability, lead time, and sourcing inquiries

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business
  • Prior purchasing, procurement, or inventory planning experience preferred
  • Analytical thought processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • ERP / MRP Experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
