MDH, Deer's Head Hospital Center, Salisbury, MD\r\n

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to receive, issue, and maintain medical, housekeeping, office, maintenance, and other various supplies for the operation of a long-term care hospital (LTCH), a skilled nursing facility (SNF), and a 27-station kidney dialysis.\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r\nExperience: Five years of experience in receiving, storing and issuing supplies, materials and equipment in a storeroom, warehouse or other supply storage facility. \r\nNotes:\r\n1. Candidates may substitute additional experience as described aboveon a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education. \r\n2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a non- commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. \r\n

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess the following:\r\n\r\n\r\n Experience working with inventory systems and maintaining stock accuracy\r\n Experience effectively managing time and resources to meet organizational goals\r\n Experience supervising and overseeing staff and operations\r\n\r\n\r\n
