Job description


Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager-Aerospace

Location: Huntsville, AR
Salary: $120,000–$160,000 + Bonus, depending on experience
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a business unit/operations center. This position will oversee sourcing, supplier management, materials planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and new product support while ensuring operational and customer requirements for quality, delivery, and cost are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with operational and customer objectives.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, materials planning, and supplier development initiatives.
  • Manage supplier performance, negotiations, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Lead S&OP, production planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization activities.
  • Identify and implement operational and supply chain improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Commodity teams to support business objectives and new product launches.
  • Monitor supply chain metrics, budgets, forecasts, and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, supply chain best practices, and ITAR requirements where applicable.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain professionals while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of supply chain or related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in commodity management and supplier development.
  • Minimum 3 years of ERP system experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supporting S&OP processes.
  • Electronic component manufacturing experience required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • ISM or APICS certification preferred.
  • CPM, CSM, or CPSM certification preferred.
