THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Supply Chain Systems Implementation Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of enhancements to the Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related Distribution applications. This role serves as a bridge between business operations and technical teams, ensuring that system solutions support Supply Chain strategies and operational goals.

The Lead plays a critical role in planning and executing large-scale Supply Chain transformation initiatives, managing change control, and guiding cross-functional teams through the design, testing, and deployment of new functionality. In addition to project leadership, the role provides subject matter expertise and functional oversight for steady-state operations as needed.

This highly collaborative position partners across Supply Chain, IT, and external vendors to drive system stability, scalability, and efficiency across ULTA’s Distribution network.

YOU''LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Lead cross-functional efforts for the development, enhancement, customization, and deployment of WMS and related Supply Chain systems.
  • Translate strategic business requirements into functional and technical design specifications for implementation.
  • Oversee and execute configuration changes to support new business processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Direct system testing, validation, and rollout activities for Distribution Center (DC) application updates and enhancements.
  • Provide leadership in the prioritization, planning, and execution of enterprise-level Supply Chain technology projects.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain comprehensive change control documentation and ensure governance compliance for all system updates.
  • Develop detailed implementation and cutover plans; monitor and report project progress to leadership.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between DC Operations, IT, and vendor partners for all system-related initiatives.
  • Act as escalation point for critical system issues impacting DC operations, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex system problems, identify root causes, and drive permanent corrective actions.
  • Provide functional and technical guidance to analysts and operational teams, fostering knowledge sharing and standardization.
  • Support user acceptance testing, training, and documentation for new solutions and releases.
  • Contribute to long-term Supply Chain technology roadmap planning by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Ensure alignment of system design and performance with ULTA’s operational standards, ROI expectations, and quality principles.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience with Manhattan Associates WMS or similar enterprise warehouse systems.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale system implementations or process transformation initiatives.
  • Strong technical proficiency with relational databases and SQL (ability to write and analyze complex queries).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills; capable of translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Strong project management, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and physical distribution concepts.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or weekends as business needs require.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to provide on-site support for Supply Chain projects and Distribution Centers.

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $119,200.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
