Job description

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for managing day‑to‑day supply chain execution, including planning, inventory control, logistics, and order fulfillment. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of products while optimizing inventory, controlling costs, mitigating operational risks, and supporting performance targets. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer‑focused supply chain operations



Key Objectives

• Ensure effective and efficient daily supply chain operations

• Deliver consistent service levels and on‑time customer fulfillment

• Optimize inventory and working capital while managing cost and risk

• Drive operational discipline and continuous improvement

• Support performance reporting and data‑driven decision making


Individual Tasks:

• Manage daily supply chain operations including planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, and order fulfillment.

• Ensure timely, complete, and accurate delivery of products to customers.

• Monitor order flow, logistics execution, and material movement to prevent service disruptions.

• Identify and resolve operational issues impacting service, cost, or efficiency.

• Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service, cost control, and working capital objectives.

• Support demand planning and supply coordination activities.

• Monitor stock levels, lead times, and replenishment strategies to mitigate supply risks.

• Track, analyze, and report key operational performance metrics.

• Identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Support KPI achievement related to service levels, execution, inventory, and cost.

• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation actions.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, trade regulations, and contract requirements.

• Support governance standards related to supply chain execution and documentation.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial, procurement, finance, and logistics teams.

• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and align priorities.

• Support a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

• Supply Chain Operations execution

• Performance monitoring and reporting 

• Risk management and compliance adherence 

• Cross functional collaboration and operational support


Required professional background & qualifications: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, planning, or a related discipline.

- Experience in chemical distribution or manufacturing environments preferred. 

- Exposure to global or international supply chain operations strongly preferred.


Required languages - 

- English

- Spanish (desired) 

Required Knowledge: 

- Strong understanding of end to end supply chain processes. 

- Operational excellence mindset with strong attention to detail.

- Data driven decision making and analytical problem solving skills. 

- Risk awareness and compliance understanding. 

- Customer focused, solution oriented approach. 

- Ability to balance strategic priorities with day to day execution. 

- Effective stakeholder communication and coordination.

Required Tool Know How:

- ERP systems (SAP / S/4HANA preferred)

- General ERP order, inventory, and logistics modules

- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
