Job description

Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring supply chain process and policies are consistent throughout sites and across account, as well as coordinating deployment of new process, policy and system globally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up inventory goal and breakdown to site & BU level & PN level
  • Coordinate cross sites, BUs & functions and formulate plan to drive all sites to optimize turns and inventory level. Provide training to each site supply chain leads on inventory management.
  • Manage holiday events, natural disasters, strikes, and etc. to assess risk and mitigate impact throughout the entire supply chain for supply chain continuity
  • Initiate new supply chain model and coordinate cross sites, BUs & functions for implementation
  • Early engagement with: Coordinate all sites and work with suppliers and on various hubbing models (i.e. Min/Max, Buy-Sell, etc.) to reduce each site's liability on inventory
  • Minimize and dispose E&O inventory
  • Review existing supply chain process and policies. Work with all sites to standardize practices, and set up sustainable process to track each site's adherence to the standardize process and policies.
  • Review, validate and optimize key supply chain parameters (i.e. MOQ/MPQ, CT2R)
  • Provide ongoing training to all site's supply chain lead on various supply chain model and processes
  • Transform current supply chain infrastructure and work on supply chain digitalization initiatives
  • Review, root cause, coordinate with SAP IT, B2B, customer IT to provide solution to various SCD data incompliance, errors, and track data governance, and provide ongoing training to each site supply chain leads.
  • Review, root cause, coordinate with B2B IT, 3PL IT and supplier IT on standard EDI signal incompliance, errors, and track data governance. Provide ongoing training and SME support to all site on hubbing signal issues, B2B, EDI issues.
  • Coordinate and lead all efforts in new SCD and B2B data changes and initiatives.
  • Manage and negotiate supplier contracts
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • SAP/Oracle knowledge preferred
  • Strong Statistical skills (plus)
  • 2nd language: Mandarin and/or Spanish preferred (plus)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience with ERP system deployment and B2B deployment preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Contract manufacturing experience  JDM/ODM preferred is a plus
  • Bilingual Chinese required
