Job Description:

The Supply Chain Program Management Intern for the Maritime Acoustic & Imaging Systems (A&IS) Supply Chain Team will support the Acoustics Systems area. The SCPM intern will assist the SCPM team with supply chain related activities across a variety of programs. The SCPM intern will gain hands-on experience with supply chain processes, program support, and requirements coordination in an Aerospace and Defense environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide support to Acoustics Systems SCPM Team programs while maintaining flexibility to support other Maritime A&IS programs as needed
  • Be accountable to Supply Chain Leadership, Program Managers, Engineering, Quality, Business Development, and Operations
  • Monitor and assess project issues at granular detail level; develop mechanisms and resolutions to meet goals
  • Support corrective action measures with suppliers when necessary and assessing trends in performance to prevent delays or cost overruns
  • Support the management of major program milestones, such as preliminary and critical reviews and other schedule goals throughout the program, including analysis of supplier capacity and capabilities
  • Drive detailed analysis of AOP performance, risks, and opportunities; ensure team maintains granular visibility to issues and mitigation plans

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in Finance, Management, Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Must have advanced computer skills and a solid understanding and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (including Costpoint and SAP)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $21.00/ hour - $41.50/ hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements
