Job description


The Supply Chain Program Manager is responsible for managing all supply chain activities in support of a specific Program (s) or Project, in an Integrated Product Team / Functional matrix organizational structure. The SCPM is responsible for development and execution of supply chain plans and strategies in support of Program goals and objectives. Manage all elements of supply chain cost, quality and schedule requirements and performance, through functional elements of the Supply Chain organization and by effective communication with other organizations, customers and suppliers. Key responsibilities include managing supply chain execution, including assessing and managing supply chain risks, opportunities and performance.
Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement supply chain management plans and executable strategies in support of specific Program (s) assignments
  • Manage all GSC functions as they relate to the Program (s) assigned and influence functional organization Program performance through effective communication, collaboration with organizations functional leadership and mentoring of personnel
  • Conduct program reviews at suppliers to determine supplier performance to insure quality, cost and deliveries
  • Manage all aspects of supplier performance including risk management / contingency planning and resolution of issues
  • Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with suppliers while enlisting the support of Procurement buyers
  • Represent the GSC organization within the Program (s) assigned at internal and external meetings, including PMR's, etc
  • Managing and supporting supply chain content for successful proposals including development of strategies, program plans, and basis of estimates

Qualifications
  • 6-9 years experience
  • Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience

The salary range for this position is: $69,350-$92,550 per year. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
