Job Summary:
Coherent Corp. is a global leader in lasers and engineered materials, seeking a Supply Chain Operations Analyst to conduct deep-dive analyses and create executive presentations. The role involves partnering with various teams to provide data-driven insights and improve supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Conduct deepโ€‘dive analyses across procurement, supply chain operations, supplier performance, and costโ€‘toโ€‘serve metrics to surface trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
โ€ข Build, automate, and maintain advanced dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks that support executive decisionโ€‘making and longโ€‘range planning.
โ€ข Partner with category managers, sourcing leads, and finance to develop dataโ€‘driven insights for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs), and executive leadership forums.
โ€ข Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytical rigor across the supply chain organization.
โ€ข Own the creation of highโ€‘impact executive presentations, including QBR/SBR materials, strategic updates, boardโ€‘level content, and operational reviews.

โ€ข Ensure alignment, consistency, and quality across all reporting artifacts, acting as a gatekeeper for executiveโ€‘facing materials.

โ€ข Serve as an operational right hand to the CPO, helping prioritize initiatives, streamline workflows, and ensure organizational alignment.
โ€ข Lead planning and execution for crossโ€‘functional meetings, supplier summits, workshops, and strategic offsitesโ€”including agenda design, content development, and logistics.
โ€ข Manage complex calendars, stakeholder coordination, and highโ€‘visibility engagements with precision and discretion.
โ€ข Support adโ€‘hoc strategic projects, research initiatives, and operational problemโ€‘solving across the supply chain organization.
โ€ข Leverage Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools to enhance team efficiency and reporting quality.
โ€ข Maintain and continuously improve shared resources, templates, and documentation repositories.
โ€ข Identify and implement process improvements that streamline reporting cycles, increase transparency, and elevate operational performance.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, business analysis, or a related analytical field.
โ€ข Proven ability to operate in a highโ€‘growth, highโ€‘expectation environment, ideally within tech, manufacturing, or complex global supply chains.
โ€ข Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and KPI development.
โ€ข Demonstrated excellence in building polished, executiveโ€‘ready presentations and strategic narratives.
โ€ข Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
โ€ข Experience supporting senior executives or leading crossโ€‘functional initiatives.
โ€ข Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.
โ€ข Comfortable navigating ambiguity and flexing across strategic and tactical responsibilities.

โ€ข Experience with supplier management, strategic sourcing, or procurement operations.
