Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Material Analyst, Programmatic. The position will be based at one of the following Eaton facilities: Arden, NC, Charlotte, NC, El Paso, TX, Omaha, NE, Greenwood, SC or Sumter, SC. The position is eligible for a hyrbid work setup (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

The role will require 25% travel. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. he Programmatic Supply Chain Material Analyst is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that enable successful delivery, industrialization, and scaling of Eaton's Programmatic ARS portfolio. This position is accountable for material readiness, demand forecasting, make-versus-buy analysis, supplier readiness, new Hubs and Fabrication COE planning, capacity planning, and launch execution.

The analyst will play a critical role in supporting Golden Unit builds, program launches, full-rate production readiness, and the development of scalable manufacturing and supply chain capabilities required to support continued Programmatic growth. Key Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting & Capacity Planning Develop demand forecasts and volume projections using customer commitments, awarded business, and pipeline opportunities. Partner with Product Line leaders and Programmatic Execution teams to translate forecasts into material, labor, supplier, and manufacturing capacity requirements.

Support SIOP and long-range planning processes. Analyze demand variability and recommend inventory and sourcing strategies to mitigate risk. Support capacity planning for suppliers, fabrication operations, manufacturing plants, and future Programmatic Hubs.

Develop scenario-based supply plans to support business growth and customer commitments. Material Strategy & Readiness Lead material readiness activities throughout the Programmatic Stage-Gate process. Ensure supply chain requirements are satisfied prior to gate approvals and launch milestones.

Coordinate procurement strategies for Golden Unit, pilot, and production builds. Monitor critical material availability, supplier commitments, and lead-time risks. Establish inventory strategies supporting production ramp-ups, ramp-downs, and program transitions.

Partner with Manufacturing and Launch teams to ensure uninterrupted production execution. What you'll do: Make vs. Buy Strategy Lead make-versus-buy evaluations for fabricated components, assemblies, and key commodities.

Analyze cost, quality, lead-time, capacity, logistics, and risk factors. Develop business cases supporting insourcing, outsourcing, automation, and strategic sourcing decisions. Collaborate with Product Lines, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations to optimize total delivered cost and supply chain resilience.

Support long-term vertical integration and fabrication strategies. Programmatic Hubs and Fabrication COE Planning Partner with Programmatic Strategy, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations leaders to support new Programmatic Hubs and Fabrication COE development and deployment. Define material flow, inventory, supplier, and replenishment strategies supporting COE operations.

Support equipment readiness, supplier qualification, and production launch planning. Evaluate fabrication opportunities that support standardization, lead-time reduction, and cost optimization. Develop supply chain strategies supporting future fabrication expansion and industrialization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Program Launch & Industrialization Support Serve as the supply chain lead for Programmatic launches and industrialization initiatives. Partner closely with Launch Leaders to ensure launch readiness across all stage-gate milestones. Support Golden Unit planning, execution, and issue resolution.

Participate in launch readiness reviews and cross-functional program reviews. Coordinate supplier readiness and material readiness activities prior to launches. Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement activities following program launches.

Supplier & Risk Management Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, responsiveness, and capacity metrics. Identify risks associated with suppliers, logistics, inventory, and material availability. Develop mitigation strategies and recovery plans for critical supply chain issues.

Support supplier development and readiness activities for new product introductions and program launches. Establish proactive risk management processes supporting business continuity. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Develop dashboards and KPIs that provide visibility into material readiness, supplier performance, forecasts, inventory, and launch readiness.

Utilize Power BI, ERP, and analytical tools to drive decision-making. Analyze program performance data and develop actionable recommendations. Support executive reviews with clear reporting on risks, opportunities, and performance trends.

Network & Operations Strategy Support manufacturing footprint and network optimization initiatives. Collaborate with Programmatic Execution teams to align future demand with manufacturing capabilities. Identify bottlenecks and support capacity expansion planning.

Assist in the launch of future Programmatic Hubs and operational readiness initiatives. Support strategic initiatives that enhance scalability, standardization, and operational excellence. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, manufacturing operations, sourcing, industrialization, or program management. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business from an accredited institution Experience supporting manufacturing operations and product launches. Experience using ERP/MRP systems. Experience in ETO, industrial, electrical, power systems, or data center manufacturing environments.

Experience with product launches, industrialization, and manufacturing readiness. Experience supporting fabrication operations or manufacturing centers of excellence. APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.

Position Criteria: Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
