Role Overview

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Supply Chain & Logistics Planner to support the planning and coordination of inbound feedstock for our recycling operations. This role will be responsible for planning inventory inflows, creating and managing purchase orders within the ERP system, and coordinating short-, mid-, and long-term inbound logistics planning to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • The position will play a critical role in aligning feedstock sourcing, supply chain operations, and finance to support efficient material flow and inventory management for plastics recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate inbound plastics feedstock volumes to support production requirements and inventory targets.
  • Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system.
  • Monitor inbound deliveries and proactively manage schedule adjustments, delays, and supply risks.
  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term inbound planning schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with Feedstock Sourcing teams to align purchase commitments with operational needs.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage capacity planning, and material availability.
  • Collaborate with Finance to support inventory accuracy, accruals, and purchasing visibility.
  • Track inventory levels and consumption trends to prevent production interruptions caused by excess or insufficient feedstock.
  • Support logistics coordination activities related to transportation scheduling and inbound shipment visibility.
  • Maintain planning reports, KPIs, and dashboards related to inventory, inbound performance, and supply continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics coordination, inventory planning, or procurement support.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, recycling, chemicals, plastics, or industrial operations preferred.
  • Strong ERP system experience, including purchase order management and inventory transactions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze operational data.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience coordinating inbound transportation and supplier scheduling.
  • Familiarity with inventory planning and production support in continuous manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with recycled materials, plastics, or feedstock supply chains is a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and reporting tools.
