Job description

Overview

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer to join our team in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will be part of the New Product Operations team, applying industry best practices while growing your expertise in supply chain. You will use your proven organizational and problem‑solving skills to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities and proactively adopting new technologies to improve processes. As a Senior Supply Chain Engineer, you will contribute to product development teams by using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support successful product launches and help maintain our leadership in smart lighting and shading systems.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a smooth product launch by collaborating across Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Production teams
  • Analyze product costs including material, labor, transportation, and tariffs
  • Develop the Finished Good Supply Chain by driving key project decisions such as where to build and warehouse products
  • Ensure Bills of Material and Configured product rules are accurate
  • Drive the system setup and ensure that it is correct, enabling ERP to correctly plan and schedule
  • Partner with team members responsible for the Raw Material Supply Chain to ensure material is available for prototype and production runs
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to drive improvements to Supply Chain processes to increase customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Operations and Supply Chain management within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with global supply chain operations and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Extensive expertise in ERP/MRP systems, supply chain analytics, and supplier management (SAP is a plus)
  • Proven analytical skills including advanced Excel (Power BI is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
