Moog's Military Aircraft Group has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Data & Process Leader. You will support Supply Chain system implementation initiatives and the development of standardized processes across Torrance Military Aircraft Group's Supply Chain functional areas. You will assist with planning, development, and enhancement of Supply Chain systems to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to align Supply Chain processes while maintaining compliance with applicable local government requirements. Reporting to our Supply Chain Director, you can choose a 9/80 work schedule with a hybrid work option (3 days/week in the office) in Torrance, CA.
To be considered for Supply Chain Data & Process Leader, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience within operations / supply chain disciplines
  • Experience working with supply chain systems and operating structures; Supply Chain best practices
  • SAP Implementation experience
  • Proven general capabilities in the use of a wide range of software tools used in an advanced manufacturing business; includes Microsoft Excel and Power BI

It'd be great if you also had:
  • Progressive experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace industry
  • Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Program Management
  • An engineering or technical background with data or process related
  • Project/Program Management experience
  • Data cleansing, testing, and system validation process experience
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, in the form of written, verbal, and presentation to multiple levels of leadership
  • Strong data driven decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills

As a Supply Chain Data & Process Leader, your will:
  • Play a key role in assessing, redesigning, and improving site supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to supply chain change management processes and implementation strategies.
  • Partner with internal and external IT resources and teams to support the overall supply chain systems and build AI strategy.
  • Provide guidance and support related to supply chain systems, tools, and business processes, transaction processes, and platform strategies, including coordination with related systems and tools throughout implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Drive innovation through emerging technologies and AI capabilities, developing digital enablement tools and solutions that improve business processes.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, with the ability to present and explain technical information in a clear, practical, and business-focused manner.
  • Influence peers, leaders, and executives across organizational boundaries to support strategic initiatives, process changes, and implementation efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the analysis, planning, and design of strategic systems, processes, dashboards, and reporting tools necessary to support Moog Supply Chain objectives.
  • Develop and supports supply chain processes, reporting capabilities, analytics, and systems within the Torrance site supply chain organization.
  • Actively engage and communicate with supply chain managers and key leaders to support proactive responses to changing business requirements and operating environments.
  • Manage change initiatives and related projects to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget expectations.
  • Identify additional improvement opportunities within supply chain and supports the development, presentation, and adoption of business cases for new projects and initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end SAP implementation for Torrance Supply Chain, ensuring alignment to standardized processes and system design.
  • Assist with SAP deployment readiness activities, including cutover planning and go-live execution.
  • Lead data cleansing, validation, and remediation to ensure accuracy of master data as required.

Salary Range Transparency:
Torrance, CA $120,000.00-$150,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
