Job description

Job Overview:
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst builds the processes, systems, and analytical capabilities needed to sustain and improve demand planning and forecasting functions across the organization. This role serves as a key decision-support partner - managing a large portfolio of products across multiple regions, ensuring forecast accuracy, mitigating out-of-stocks, and aligning with promotional and innovation activity. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst partners broadly across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Partner Brands to deliver structured insights that enable leaders to make confident, well-informed decisions. Success in this role requires a balance of day-to-day execution, proactive communication, and strategic analytical work to support both short-term performance and long-term business growth. Works under general direction, participates in determining objectives of assignments, and independently plans and organizes activities to accomplish goals.
Position Responsibilities
Forecasting & Product Management
  • Manage a large portfolio of products across multiple regions, continuously updating, validating, and troubleshooting forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee new product setup across distribution branches, determine how volume is allocated, and monitor performance during the initial weeks following launch.
  • Manage discontinued products - removing them from planning systems, updating tracking lists, and coordinating the deactivation process.
  • Maintain product tracking lists to ensure forecast integrity and prevent gaps in data.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts when system-generated projections understate demand; apply manual corrections until sales teams can recalibrate.
  • Adjust forecasts to account for late promotional changes, national incentives, retail resets, local promotions, and new regional business wins.
  • Respond to ad-hoc forecast change requests from National Account Executives, Regional Account Executives, and Revenue Growth Management teams.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead and attend regional forecast alignment calls across multiple regions, reviewing top products tied to promotional activity and new product introductions.
  • Facilitate recurring touchpoints with Market Development and Regional Sales Planning teams to address new products, incentives, and special requests.
  • Conduct weekly calls with Partner Brand teams to align on forecasts and upcoming product introductions.
  • Participate in National Account reviews with key retail partners, covering promotional activity, forecast adjustments, and volume expectations.
  • Attend monthly capacity planning calls with production teams to validate forecasts against manufacturing and inventory constraints.
  • Lead weekly supply escalation calls with the Supply Chain Planning team to review out-of-stock situations and critical forecast adjustments.

Analytics, Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Build, enhance, and maintain demand planning analytical frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools - with a strong emphasis on visual, self-serve reporting.
  • Develop models and scenario analyses to evaluate demand and supply variables; translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Build presentations to review new and limited-time product forecasts with regional teams prior to launch.
  • Partner with planning system teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues, including allocation errors and planning overlaps.
  • Rebalance product volumes across distribution points when route or branch changes occur; monitor post-change performance to validate accuracy.
  • Develop solutions to complex, cross-functional problems and exert influence on long-range organizational objectives.

Represent the organization as a primary point of contact on key projects, coordinating across senior internal and external stakeholders.
Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $76,400 - $99,770
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or a related operations function.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools - Power BI and SQL; experience with o9 Solutions and Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build self-serve dashboards and reporting frameworks that drive adoption across business teams.
  • Experience with demand planning or supply chain planning systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
