• Manage crises effectively during therapy sessions, providing immediate support and intervention as necessary.
• Collaborate with milieu staff to ensure patients and their families receive comprehensive support throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct timely clinical documentation during each session, adhering to professional standards and ensuring continuity of care.
• Establish strong therapeutic rapport with patients and their support systems, performing thorough assessments for risks such as suicidality.
• Facilitate admission assessments, welcoming new patients with professionalism and courtesy to create a positive first impression.
• Actively participate in clinical outreach and program tours as needed, showcasing our services and fostering community relationships.
• Engage in weekly consultations with the treatment team to discuss patient progress and treatment goals, and provide additional support for colleagues as needed.
• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies, supplying necessary clinical information for authorization and continued care.
• Be responsive to inquiries from family members and loved ones, ensuring professional communication within two hours during working hours.
• Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding insurance authorizations and payment processes.
• Begin discharge planning from the day of admission, ensuring patients have a transition plan in place that includes necessary coping skills and resources.

You will work with a wide range of patients, including individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our patient population reflects diverse backgrounds and experiences, allowing you the opportunity to engage meaningfully with each individual. Your role will be crucial in providing therapeutic support tailored to the unique needs of each client and fostering their path towards recovery and mental well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Active and independent licensure in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Proven ability to handle a substantial caseload while maintaining the highest standards of care.
• A genuine passion for positively impacting the lives of others through behavioral health care.
• Strong proficiency in operating electronic medical records systems.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in electronic correspondence.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the nuances of cultural variables in mental health.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology to support virtual care.
• Background in crisis intervention and risk assessment protocols.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 50,000 and 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
