Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interviews, trains, orients, counsels, evaluates, and administers disciplinary action. ecommends hiring decisions and disciplinary actions to manager.
Schedules personnel, approves paid time off (PTO) and authorizes time and attendance.
Assists Manager with developing and monitoring capital and operating budgets for cost center.
Monitors quality of scans and procedures in department. Assists Manager in developing and administering the Quality Improvement Plan and departmental policies and procedures.
Reports on equipment, personnel, and other issues through management team meetings and written reports.
Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of a Technologist (NM, US or IR).
Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.
Demonstrates service excellence behaviors routinely in encounters with all customers, coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, auxilians, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program
2. Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
3. Three years of clinical experience

8:30-5pm
