This individual will be responsible for generating new commercial maintenance opportunities, expanding Superior Landscaping’s presence within targeted industries and building a qualified pipeline of large-scale accounts.

The role requires strong prospecting, networking, client relationship management, proposal coordination and follow-through. The successful candidate will register Superior Landscaping as a preferred vendor with targeted client groups, create and manage a formal target account list, present sales progress and deal status to ownership and provide sales-side oversight of the estimating department to ensure timely, accurate and competitive proposals.

·         Develop and maintain a targeted list of prospective accounts, including property management companies, ownership groups, hotels, shopping centers, residential communities, office buildings, mixed-use developments and business improvement districts.

·         Register Superior Landscaping as a preferred vendor with targeted commercial real estate firms, property management companies, hospitality groups, residential associations, business improvement districts, municipalities and institutional clients.

·         Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from initial prospecting through site walk, proposal, negotiation, contract award and transition to operations.

·         Research market opportunities, expiring maintenance contracts, new developments, redevelopment projects, ownership changes and competitor activity.

·         Attend networking events, trade association meetings, chamber events, property management functions, hospitality industry events and other business development opportunities.

·         Represent Superior Landscaping professionally in meetings, presentations, site inspections, property walks and client-facing events.

Client Relationship Management

·         Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, asset managers, owners, board members, facility managers, general managers, developers and key decision-makers.

·         Act as a trusted advisor by understanding each client’s property needs, service expectations, budget constraints, operational concerns and long-term goals.

·         Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients to build trust, identify needs and position Superior Landscaping as a preferred commercial maintenance provider.

·         Coordinate internal introductions between clients and the appropriate operations, estimating and executive team members.

·         Identify enhancement opportunities, service upgrades and additional landscape-related needs that support both client satisfaction and company growth.

Sales Pipeline, Reporting & Ownership Updates

·         Create and maintain a detailed target account list and active sales pipeline.

·         Track prospecting activity, proposal status, follow-up dates, estimated contract value, probability of award, competitive intelligence and next steps.

·         Provide regular updates to ownership and senior leadership regarding sales activity, active opportunities, deal status, projected revenue and market feedback.

·         Prepare professional summaries, pipeline reports, meeting notes and sales updates for internal review.

·         Monitor proposal volume, close rates, target-account progress and sales performance against company growth objectives.

Estimating & Proposal Oversight

·         Oversee and coordinate with the estimating department to ensure proposals are completed accurately, professionally and on schedule.

·         Participate in site walks, scope reviews, takeoffs, pricing reviews and proposal strategy discussions.

·         Ensure proposals clearly reflect scope of work, service frequencies, staffing assumptions, equipment needs, pricing structure, exclusions and Superior Landscaping’s value proposition.

·         Work with operations to confirm proposed services are realistic, properly staffed, operationally achievable and aligned with company profitability goals.

·         Review final proposals, bid packages and presentation materials for quality, accuracy, completeness and competitiveness before submission.

·         Assist with formal client presentations, interview preparation, bid follow-up, clarification responses and contract transition meetings.

Marketing, Branding & Market Presence

·         Support the company’s visibility in the South Florida commercial property market through networking, client engagement and professional brand representation.

·         Assist with marketing initiatives, proposal content, project profiles, client presentations, capability statements and company promotional materials.

·         Marketing and social media skills are preferred, including the ability to support content development, project highlights, company visibility and brand awareness; however, these skills are not mandatory.

PRIMARY TARGET MARKETS
