Overview
Superior Beverage Group is a family owned and operated company that has been around since 1922. Our Delivery Truck Trainees/Helpers provide countless smiles across all Northeastern and Central Ohio. They are given the opportunity to earn their way into our CDL training program while assisting our Delivery Drivers in delivering cases of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products to our customers on a daily basis. Our Delivery Trainees spend time doing on the job and on the road training, complemented by classroom time at our facility. This is a fast-paced, physical environment that provides our customers with all their beer and wine needs.
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: 5:45AM to Delivery Finish

Driver Trainee Typical Duties:
  • Actively pursue and train for the Class A commercial driver's license.
  • Assist drivers in unloading beer from our delivery trucks at each account in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Rotate company products in retail accounts.
  • Train on driver iPad technology.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner and promote a positive company image.
  • Gain knowledge and comply with DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and guidelines.

Driver Trainee Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and great driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Willingness and interest in obtaining a Class A commercial driver's license.
  • Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases at each delivery location.
  • Capable of performing duties in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Solid math skills.
