Assistant Community Managerย
The Property Management teamย is responsible forย operatingย and maintaining our beautiful communities, but beyond that, they are relationship builders and the heart and soul ofย MidPen. Property Management works closely with our residents, our community partners, and their fellowย MidPenners, including close collaboration with our Resident Services team.ย
As the Assistant Community Manager, you will report to the Community Manager.ย You'llย be responsible forย supporting the daily operations of the property, including key areas of responsibility like fiscal management, compliance, facilities, risk management, and resident relations.ย
Responsibilities:ย
- Schedules income verification appointments, prepares and processes lease agreements andย maintainsย housing wait listย
- Assistsย in the completion of re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, Management and Occupancy (MOR) and Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) reviewsย
- Issues notices, schedules vacancies, prepares, andย monitorsย turnover formsย
- Assistsย in the collection of rents, completion of security deposits, logs petty cash use and preparation of bank deposits]ย
- Inspects property andย identifiesย maintenance and security issuesย
- Supports working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agenciesย
- Coordinates maintenance inspections with facilities staff and ensures work orders are processedย in a timely mannerย
- Maintains resident and property files without compromising confidential informationย
- Communicates proceduresย regardingย emergency preparedness to residents and coordinatesย logisticsย for resident meetingsย
- Performs other duties as assigned ย

- This role primarily involves desk-based computer work with frequent sitting. Occasional physical activity includes standing, walking, reaching overhead, filing, and lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds. Rarely, the position may require bending, squatting, or kneeling.ย
Education and Experience:ย
- High School diploma or GED and one year of residential property management, customer service or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceย
Pay Range:ย
$21.15 - $23.80 Hourly - Pay based on applicable experience and qualificationsย
