Sunrise Haven Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility for professionals who require a balance between work and personal responsibilities. While you will primarily work from home, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with team members and attend virtual team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development seminars. • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients to promote open communication and effective treatment.
• Diagnose and treat a wide array of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs, incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, and adjust treatment plans collaboratively as necessary.
• Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational protocols.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to specialized services when appropriate.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy and counseling.

• A valid and active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or group therapy, with a focus on diverse mental health issues.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively prioritize work and manage administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or veterans, is an asset.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and electronic health record systems that facilitate remote therapy sessions.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to mental health awareness is beneficial.
