Job description

JOB Title: Computer Systems Administrator(CSA) in Sunny Northwest Florida

Position Description:

Rally Point Management, LLC is looking for a Computer Systems Administrator (CSA) to support classified programs at Eglin Air Force Base in Sunny Northwest Florida.You can live in the spectacular area of Destin and Ft. Walton Beach, while supporting Eglin Air Force Base Electronic Warfare (EW) Missions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general systems administration support across the organization such as computer system maintenance, computer system repair, server maintenance, software system maintenance and network maintenance.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, diagnose, validate, and resolve hardware, software, firmware and network problems.
  • Configure, maintain, patch and upgrade network connection devices, network hardware/software equipment, and automation equipment, run utility software, isolating client, server, or peripheral configuration problems, cleaning file systems and extraneous temporary and log files, and maintaining the approved system baseline. Develop and enhance SolarWinds application LAN/WAN and server monitoring, reporting and alerting processes across the organizationto improve device health, status, reporting, and patching.
  • Identify communications service requirements. Provide weekly updates of activity and status as requested, attend meetings to provide leadership situational awareness and recommendations.
  • Remotely remove potentially malicious file formats from network drives and locations.
  • Provide cost and logistics planning and implementation packages for IT infrastructure upgrades to leadership.
  • Manage, maintain, and conduct IT refresh for out of warrant equipment.
  • Set up, configure, maintain personnel computer accounts on both classified and unclassified networks.
  • Maintain Access Control Lists for shared network drives and Sharepoint locations.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have the capability to obtain and maintain up to a Top SECRET security clearance
  • Require a minimum of 3-5 years experience as aSystem Administrator
  • Require IA Technical level II (GSEC, Security+, CE, SSCP) certifications IAW DoDD 8570 and DoDD 8570.01-M
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in computer fieldplus 3-5 years experience "OR" Associates degree in computer relateddiscipline plus 5-7 years experience
  • Experience in telecommunications and network administration in a large distributed classified environment with emphasis on military operations is highly desired
  • Experience in life-cycle management of LAN/WAN, Test and evaluation, data performance and collection, quality assurance metrics and Microsoft Office applications is highly desired
  • Prefer Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP) or UNIX systems, network control center operations, requirement analysis, and computer-aided drawing, preferably Visio
  • Experience demonstrating network planning and integration knowledge
  • Ability to manage the varied tasks associated with multiple projects, prioritize, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle classified, sensitive and confidential information discretely
  • Prefer strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to travel up to approximately 25% of the time or based on mission requirements
