Inpatient Psychiatrist Position

SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is looking for an Inpatient Psychiatrist to work days (no call, no weekends) in historic Georgetown, DE.

Job Description:

  • Client is NOT considering Telehealth. This position is 100% on site.
  • Monday-Friday, day shift schedule
  • Requesting one weekend/month, phone on-call weekly
  • Reason for coverage: Replacement
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 18
  • Total Number of Beds: 99
  • How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 2
  • How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group? 3, plus per diem pool
  • How Many Psychologists? Per diem
  • Required Treatment Disorders: anxiety disorders, affective disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, trauma-related disorders
  • EMR: Wellsky
  • Must have familiarity with involuntary commitments, pharmacotherapy
  • Must have Perm interest (not accepting Locums applicants)
