Spend Your Summer Impacting Communities with a Focus on Youth with Keystone SMILES this Summer in Clarion County.


Join the team with an active and mobile summer. Looking for a summer of diversity providing meals and programs for children and youth as well as building your resume'. Create new friendships while designing and implementing summer activities involving the environment, the arts, and STEM learning. The programs will take place in a variety of sites with each position having the opportunity to meet new individuals, feed more kids during a time when food prices are soaring, and grow as a leader in your community.

Keystone SMILES is a nonprofit located in Knox which provides summer AmeriCorps (work) opportunities for schools and nonprofits helping to impact children and you for a summer of fun!

AmeriCorps is anational service movement that engages thousands of men and women of all ages and backgrounds in service often referred to as the domestic Peace Corps, aimed at meeting the needs in the areas of Education, Public Safety, Environment, and Human Services.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - Full Time, Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours)


AmeriCorps Positions and Benefits-


450 Hour Term

  1. May 12th - Last Day:August 14th
  2. May 19th - Last Day: August 19th
  • Education Award -$1,956.35
  • Total Living Allowance-$6,300


300 Hour Term

1.June 2nd - Last Day: August 7th

2.June 9th - Last Day: August 14th

  • Education Award -$1,565.08
  • Total Living Allowance -$4,361.54

Accepted applicants will participate in a one-day pre-service orientation their first day of service via virtual training.
