Job description

Spend a summer as a nurse at Camp Matoaka, a residential summer camp for girls inSmithfield, Maine (3 hours from Boston, and located 8 miles from Colby College)! We are approaching our 70th summer in camping, and we have a great system in place! We hire 7 nurses for the summer, and our local Nurse Practitioner oversees the program, as well as our residential Doctor on staff. Our nurses follow standing orders for the summer. Health Team made up of a Specialty Chef and a 2 Health Aides. We provide room and board for our nurses; we have housing in our Health Center, which includes air conditioning, internet, washer/drier, and a small kitchenette.

Camp Matoaka welcomes 150 staff members. 345 campers travel from near and far to spend 3 1/2 weeks or 7 weeks at One Great Place. If you are interested in being part of our Health Center Team for the Summer of 2024, click the link "Apply Now"
