Job description

The School of Architecture and Planning is looking to hire an enthusiastic student employee to assist during the Architecture + Design Summer Academy (ADSA) for high school juniors and seniors which will be held at the Predock Center for Design and Research from July 6-24, 9-3 Monday through Friday. This position will assist the instructor as needed including distributing supplies to students and helping to guide them through the design process.

The Architecture + Design Summer Academy is a program designed to introduce High School Juniors and Seniors to the disciplines in which the SA+P offers degrees and certificates, preparing them for application to our undergraduate programs. ADSA students will hear lectures on diverse topics in architecture and design and take field trips around Albuquerque. Teens will have the opportunity to study with different instructors and will get feedback on their work from local professionals and community leaders during a final review on the last Friday of the session.
