We are currently looking for a Summer Student to provide general support to our Mental Health & Addiction Program.

Employment Status: Temporary Full Time
Duration: August 2026 
Hours of Work: Day shifts from Monday to Friday, occasional evenings and/or weekends may be required - subject to change as per Management Rights
Location: Humber River Health, Hennick Humber Hospital - Wilson site (onsite)
Labour Group: Non Union

Hourly Rate: $20.00
Reporting Relationship: Program Director, Mental Health & Addictions 

The Summer Student will assist with:

• Support duties and provide backfill support to the Program Assistants
• Provide meeting / minute / calendar support during periods of vacancy or vacation backfill
• Front desk assignment and support
• Administrative tasks associated with the leadership team
• Reporting any problems or concerns to the Program Directors
• Special project related responsibilities as requested

 
Qualifications:

• Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education.
• Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
• Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local residents.
• Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to multitask competing priorities
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
