Job description

The Country Club of Birmingham is a premier private club offering exceptional amenities, personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests. From golf and racquets to fine dining and social events, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in every experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age to qualify

Reports to: Asst. Manager

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday *exact hours will be discussed upon interviewย 

Job Summary: Provides Food and Beverage service to Members playing on the Golf Course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets all golfers upon arrival to Snack Stand making sure that ice water is available at all times.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of Snack Stands including all equipment and storage facilities.
  • Requisitions supplies as needed from club storeroom, liquor room, makes ham and turkey sandwiches for both stands and insures their proper storage. (During summer months when both stands are open full time East Stand Attendant will requisition all supplies and make sandwiches for both stands.)
  • Stocks, cleans and services stand before and after busy period.
  • Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments of all self-serve items.
  • Complies with all Health Department rules and State Alcohol Laws.
  • Communicates with Golf Shop on daily bases checking weather conditions and tee times. If the weather is questionable for any reason or there are no tee times the Manager on Duty will give further instructions on opening and closing of Snack Stands.
  • Before closing of Snack Stands properly store all garnishes and condiments of self-serve itemsย 
  • Checks that all necessary equipment and utilities are turned off.
  • At the end of shift enters all snack stand tickets through theย 
  • Point of Sales system. During summer months when both stands are open full time each stand attendant is responsible forย entering their own tickets accumulated through out the day.)
  • At the end of daily shift return all items used from kitchen toย the dish hall, dispose all trash in the dumpster and properlyย store the Snack Stand cart on a charger in the cart barn
  • On the last day of each month inventory of all items must beย ย taken for both stands at the close of the business day and turnedย into the Bar Manager.
  • ย ย ย Snack Cart is ONLY to be use for transporting requisitionedย items to stands and disposing of trash.ย
