Position: Warehouse Associate
Pay: $ 18-19 /hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Job Overview
The Lee Group is seeking hardworking Warehouse Associates for one of our valued clients in Richmond, VA. This is a physically demanding warehouse position with the potential to become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Associates will spend approximately 75% of their shift on their feet while receiving, stocking, pulling, and preparing materials for shipment. Job Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials.
• Put materials away on warehouse shelving, including loose items, bags, and boxes.
• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers at heights up to 20 feet.
• Accurately read and follow work orders.
• Maintain inventory organization and warehouse cleanliness.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times .
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience required.
• Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, and order picker experience required.
• Comfortable operating equipment at heights up to 20 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, stand, and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Stable work history with no more than three-month employment gaps unless explained on the resume.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse inventory is preferred.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, such as Lowe's or Home Depot, is a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with hot temperatures during the summer months.
• Physically demanding position requiring prolonged standing and walking for approximately 75% of the workday.
• Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely throughout the shift.

Shift Details

• Monday through Friday
• Primary schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• 40-hour work week
• Temp-to-hire opportunity for qualified candidates
