Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop personalized and effective treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Employ a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapies, and solution-focused brief therapy based on clinical appropriateness.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring an evidence-based approach to emotional and psychological problems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive client care and holistic treatment solutions.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, implementing strategies to ensure client safety and well-being during acute stress situations.
  • Document client progress meticulously, adhering to regulations and maintaining confidentiality, while also managing necessary paperwork and billing processes efficiently.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include a diverse range of individuals encountering various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship counseling, and trauma recovery. You will provide tailored interventions that resonate with the unique experiences of each client, focusing on their specific challenges and facilitating pathways toward healing and self-discovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
  • At least two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings, is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
