Classification Minimum Requirements:
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Working knowledge of basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, and general website architecture
• Familiarity with one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, PowerShell, or Bash
• Familiarity with web servers and web-based technologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work independently while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Job Description:
  • Support and maintain departmental web servers, web applications, websites, and related technical infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues affecting web-based systems and resources
  • Perform maintenance, updates, and documentation of web systems and server assets
  • Assist with development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal tools, scripts, and applications
  • Support website deployment processes and maintain development, testing, and production environments
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, secure, aligned with industry standards, and compatible across browsers, devices, and operating systems
  • Assist with implementation of system improvements and technical initiatives
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and inventories of systems and resources
  • Assist with access management, security updates, and general system hardening activities
  • Collaborate with departmental staff and technical partners on projects and ongoing system support activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Expected Salary:
$20-$30 hourly, commensurate with experience
Required Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Working knowledge of basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, and general website architecture
