Job description

Sensormatic Electronics, LLC seeks Technical QA Lead at its facility located at 6 Technology Park Drive, Westford, MA 01886.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Facilitate day-to-day QA and software priorities and processes in addition to getting hands on with the projects within the team. Work on and review test plans, prioritize tests, and ensure best practices are being followed. Design and build physical environments to verify new product functionality. Identify root cause of defects. Collaborate with development engineers, architects, and level 3 support engineers. Build test plans and test strategies for cloud, server, and web interfaces. Review automation priorities. Assist in automation in Python, JavaScript, or UFT frameworks. Contribute as an embedded member of the sprint team with assigned stories. Work with QA test team responsible for various software, hardware, and firmware projects. Operate under Agile principles, and the team lead would often be part of multiple scrum teams providing consulting services and ensuring best practices. Telecommuting: 2 days per week of remote work permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and Six (6) years of experience as a QA Lead, QA Analyst, or related occupation in hardware and software test. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) WebdriverIO, JavaScript, or Python; (2) Zephyr Scale or other test management systems; (3) Cloud architecture, microservices, and deployments; (4) APIs, virtualized services, and API testing strategies; (5) Automating frontend web work flows with Selenium (JavaScript or Python); and (6) Researching and presenting solutions to peers and QA management.

RATE OF PAY: $140,525.00 - $143,220.00 per year
