We are looking for analytically driven early-career professionals to join our Americas consulting team as we expand in Houston and New York.ย

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Day-to-day:ย 

  • Collaborateย with team membersย toย plan and execute projectย workstreams, often using Microsoft Excel and internal Rystadย products to manipulate and forecast dataย 
  • Prepare client-ready presentations, using Microsoft PowerPoint andย additional visualization toolsย 
  • Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholdersย on relevant findings, methodologies, and next stepsย 
  • Leverageย AIย to streamline workflows across data manipulationย and analysisย 

Occasional workflows:ย 

  • Mapย geospatial information using GIS programsย 
  • Build models and analyze large data sets in pythonย 
  • Develop client-side productsย and market reports inย collaborationย with the Analysis departmentย 
  • Support the commercial team with business development related toย ongoing or previous client workย 

You will work on challenging assignments requiring rigorous analysis to drive insights and conclusions. As a member of project teams, you will engage closely with clients and learn and deploy knowledge quickly. You will work collaboratively on project teams, supporting clients across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors, as well as energy transition areas such as renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture. ย 
Your responsibilities will include structuring and breaking down ambiguous problems, performing quantitative analysis, producing reports, and delivering recommendations,ย operating with urgencyย to deliver results withinย client-drivenย timeframes. You will work primarily at the Rystad Energy officeย you are based inbut may travel to client sites as required.ย 

Desired Qualificationsย 

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degreeย inย aย quantitativeย or other relevantย field (engineering, economics,ย energy policy,ย etc), graduating inย Winterย 2027 orย Springย 2028ย 
  • Experience using Microsoftย Officeย for modeling and data visualizationย (Excel, PowerPoint)ย ย 
  • Familiarity withย Python, GIS, SQL, orย otherย quantification and visualizationย softwareย is a plusย 
  • Strong quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, modeling, or engineering applicationsย ย 
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear written deliverables, presentations, and data visualizations for clients and internal stakeholdersย 
  • Demonstrated interest in and understanding ofย energy markets, technologies, andย policyย 
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detailย 
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsย
