What is our Sales Internship?
Our Sales Interns rotate through our Brokerage Services teams throughout the summer to broaden their perspective of Holmes Murphy and the insurance industry (where available based on geography). Our Sales team focuses on growth and client acquisition.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Assisting in building relationships with prospective clients
  • Collaborating across departments to deliver value-driven proposals
  • Supporting full-time sales team members in contributing to company profitability
  • Attending sales meetings
  • Attending community activities & association meetings to promote Holmes Murphy
  • Preparing and delivering proactive sales presentations to leaders and mentors
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.

  • Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.
