We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic individuals to serve as positive role models and mentors for youth, ages 5 - 17 at our American Camp Association accredited summer camp. Qualified candidates will possess patience, fairness, compassion, resilience, great listening skills, and have a passion for the outdoors, fun and developing young people. You will help provide a fun, caring, safe environment in which young people will learn to appreciate nature, enjoy the challenges of adventure activities while creating lasting friendships and memories. You will deliver age appropriate, predetermined curriculum in a variety of camp activities including, but not limited to: target sports, ecology, crafts, swimming, boating, hiking, team challenges, high ropes, photography, sports and games and/or rock climbing. Applicants are required to reside on site and in cabins with children.

Jr Camp Counselors will be paired with a co-counselor to support their supervision of campers. They will foster and maintain positive developmentally sound relationships between and with campers, assist in personal care as needed, be attentive at all times, and assist with a variety of camp activities. These include, but are not limited to, target sports, rock climbing, crafts, and aquatic activities.
Pay starts at $290.
Camp Counselor:
