Job description

The Leadership School is the first public charter school in St. Louis County, paving the way for educational choice and opportunity for all families in the St. Louis area. We are growing our dream team and are currently seeking hardworking, results-oriented educators who embody our mission: to grow our students' leadership capacity through an academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and relationship-oriented environment.

This means our teachers need the time and support to become content and instructional experts. Our innovative staff model is designed to create a supportive, motivating, and sustainable environment for all staff. The Leadership Schools' teachers spend approximately 60% of their time student-facing providing high-quality learning experiences and instruction. Our teachers also have ample dedicated time to plan and internalize their lessons, collaborate with collogues, receive coaching and development, provide students feedback on their work, and communicate with families about their child's performance. Approximately 40% of each instructional staff's time is spent planning, training, collaborating, or communicating with students and their families.
