The assistant coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in managing the team, ensuring athlete safety, and maintaining compliance with state athletic regulations. Core ResponsibilitiesProgram Support: Assist the head coach with instruction on rules, equipment, and basketball techniques. This includes running drills, developing game strategies, and scouting opponents.Supervision & Safety: Ensure constant supervision of student-athletes, particularly in locker rooms and during team travel.
