POSITION MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Waco ISD Summer Camps teacher is to provide continued learning in reading and math to Mentoring Alliance campers in an effort to decrease or eliminate summer learning regression.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
  • Camper Learning: Demonstrates academic competence in subject area(s) and contributes to camper learning, growth, and advancement.
  • Camper Safety: Collaborates with camp counselors for group and behavior management in order to ensure the well-being and safety of all campers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively collaborates with Mentoring Alliance and WISD to accomplish the intended outcome of Summer Camps education.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be a current Waco ISD educator.
  • Must be available to teach during academic hours - academic hours are 1.5 hours in the morning.
