Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking talented and committed individuals with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to join our Primary Market Research (PMR) practice area as Summer Associates. With a primary focus on PMR responsibilities, the PMR Summer Associates will interact closely with other staff, management, and leadership to deliver actionable and insight driven solutions for clients. This environment provides Summer Associates with exposure to a wide variety of primary market research methods and an opportunity to gain in depth knowledge of how PMR insights drive commercial decision making in the life sciences industry. On each project, Summer Associates help gather information, create and interpret analyses, and develop presentations of research findings. Their work is the base upon which our strategic recommendations that drive our client's decisions are ultimately grounded. Summer Associates develop their skills through undergoing comprehensive formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to stretch their skills.

This is a 9-week,in-personsummer internship and the program will run from June 14-August 13, 2027. Interns will be paid $35/hour and can expect to work 40 hours/week.

Essential Functions

  • Draft materials for research (screeners, discussion guides, stimuli, surveys)
  • Support field work and recruiting of PMR respondents
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative primary market research data
  • Help craft takeaways and implications for the client based on study findings
  • Develop a highly visual PowerPoint presentation of study findings

Position Requirements

Education: Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, sciences, social sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering or public health and demonstrate interest in the life sciences field. The internship program is reserved for rising seniors or students who have 1 year left in their studies.

Work Experience: 0-2 years of experience in consulting, primary market research or other relevant areas within the life sciences industry
