Covercraft Industries, LLC is the leading branded manufacturer of Automotive, Marine and Recreational Vehicle protection products, as well as a market leader in outdoor protection products for Home and Garden since 1965. We’re rapidly expanding and want to add energetic, goal-oriented new team members who will join in our growth in these exciting industries.

We are currently hiring for temporary positions at our Landrum, SC locations for our busy summer season!

This is a great opportunity for college students, teachers, or anyone needing a summer job!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Receive daily work order assignments from Supervisor and prepare fabric set-up in accordance with work orders.
  • Ability to solve problems and work with a team to continuously improve production processes and achieve daily production goals.
  • Must maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Must be able to communicate with Supervisor to assist with problem solving.
  • Housekeeping of all areas.
  • Anything else deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Level 1: Team member must be able to load and unload material racks, must be able to assist in loading of cutter as required and assist Level 2 Operators as needed.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
  • Able to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
  • Able to comply with company safety, attendance and all other company policies.
  • Good communication skills both with peers and supervisors.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to utilize data collection systems which may include data entry into a tablet or computer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have 20/20 vision or correction to 20/20.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
  • Must be able to stand or sit entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on continuous basis.
  • Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stoop, squat, bend, stretch and twist.
