Job Type: Part-time Opportunity (6–12 hours per week); additional hours may be available

About This Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work with students at Think Zone Learning Center. We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable team members who enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping students grow in math during the Spring and Summer months.

We are seeking patient, reliable tutors who are passionate about helping K–8 students build confidence and skills in math. The ideal candidate can explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive environment where students can thrive. What You Will Do

  • Provide personalized, one-on-one math instruction to K–8 students based on their individual learning needs and goals
  • Assess student understanding and adapt your teaching approach to support different learning styles and paces
  • Use curriculum resources and tools provided by Think Zone to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that builds student confidence and a positive attitude toward mathematics
  • Help students develop foundational math skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to support growth and celebrate achievements
  • Maintain professional and positive communication with parents and students, building strong relationships and addressing student progress

Qualifications

  • Strong math proficiency, with at least a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or a background in education is a plus
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain math concepts in an easy-to-understand way
  • Patience and empathy when working with students of varying ages, abilities, and confidence levels
  • Ability to personalize instruction based on individual student needs, learning styles, and progress

Schedule

We are seeking reliable individuals available to work 2–4 hours per day, three times per week, with a strong preference for weekend availability.

Pay Range: $18.50–$20.00/hour
