Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Mathematics is a unit of the College of Science and Mathematics at Kennesaw State University. Our students experience world-class instruction in the Department of Mathematics from faculty who are deeply invested in student success. Nearly all courses offered by the department are designed and taught entirely by full-time faculty. Our instructors strive to set students on a path for success, whether majoring in mathematics or many other related disciplines. Our department has a vibrant research culture and actively engages in mentoring students in original research projects. Our graduates are fully prepared to enter the workforce in industry or academia where deep analytic and quantitative skills are in high demand.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics for the academic year 2026-2027. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mathematics, or a closely related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experiences of collegiate mathematics courses
