The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team for the summer. Reporting to the office/finance team, you'll support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced food production and retail business. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who is strong with numbers, highly organized, and eager to learn how finance operates in a real-world environment.


What You'll Do

  • Assist with data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable and production orders
  • Help reconcile invoices, receipts, and statements for accuracy
  • Support general bookkeeping tasks and maintain organized financial records
  • Assist with tracking inventory costs and other operational data
  • Provide general administrative support to the office team (filing, scanning, document management)
  • Help prepare basic reports and spreadsheets
  • Other accounting and admin tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort learning new software
  • Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
