Position Description
The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) seeks applications for a Lecturer in Engineering Design with a focus on materials science and engineering, with an expected start date of July 1, 2026. The full-time position is for three years, with the second two years contingent on a satisfactory performance review during the first year. Responsibilities may include the following:

    • One or both semesters of the Independent Design Engineering Project (IDEP) course (ADV 9381 or ADV 9382)
  • Serving as Academic Advisor to a limited number of MDE students. If this position isn't co-teaching ADV 9381 and/or 9382, a limited number of IDEP advisees is also expected.
