Job description
Join the Powertrain Development and Certification Group as a Student to work on a range of engine and vehicle related projects. Powertrains experience may range from passenger car xEV to Heavy Duty trucks with engines from 1.5L to 20L.
Objectives of this Role:
- Work with a team of experienced engineers and project managers to assist in powertrain emissions experiments, data acquisition, and analysis of results.
- Obtain experience in the areas of engine and vehicle testing.
- Summer 2026 student position.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Conduct test experiments in a laboratory environment.
- Analyze experiment results and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Work with data analysis software such as MatLab, Python, Excel, and Labview.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing an Associate of Science degree with a focus on engineering related coursework.
- 0 years: Coursework or project experience using engineering principals.
- Experience working with engines and vehicles is desirable.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
