Job description

Role Overview:
This role is for a Senior Java & GCP Integration Support Lead to join a large-scale Distributed Order Management System (DOMS) transformation program. The program involves migrating from JDE OMS to IBM Sterling OMS, establishing a common integration layer for seamless communication between Sterling OMS and various enterprise applications. The lead will be responsible for owning end-to-end integration support operations onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end support for the Common Integration Layer.
  • Serve as the primary onsite technical contact for business and IT stakeholders.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within defined SLA commitments.
  • Coordinate effectively with offshore development, support, middleware, infrastructure, and OMS teams.
  • Support integrations across OMS, ERP, WMS, inventory, transportation, and other enterprise systems.
  • Lead incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), problem management, and service restoration activities.
  • Participate actively in operational reviews and governance meetings.

Required Skills:
  • Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Messaging.
  • GCP (Google Cloud Platform) services including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Monitoring & Logging.
  • Integration Technologies, SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL.
  • Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK.
  • ServiceNow, Jira, Git.
  • Domain experience in Retail, Ecommerce, Order Management, Supply Chain.
  • Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and capability to manage critical incidents effectively.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of overall Java experience.
  • 3+ years of GCP experience.
  • Proven production support leadership experience.
  • Background in retail or Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Experience working within an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Knowledge of JDE/ERP integrations.
