Job description

Hourly Wage: $20.72DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To support manufacturing by moving raw materials and finished goods in and out of assigned locations by using pallet jacks, powered industrial lifts, RF Scanners and other general warehouse equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

•Move raw materials and finished goods for processing or dispatch to designated areas of the warehouse, docks, and production floor

•Pick parts and materials for production and shipping based on business priorities

•Track and ensure inventory is stored in proper locations to maximize efficiency

•Use RF Scanner to accurately document product movement to ensure inventory accuracy

•Order parts and materials from Kan-Ban area as needed or directed

•Constantly assess on-hand parts and materials quantities and replenish as needed

•Promptly notify management of any damaged or mislabeled product, freight or equipment

•Follow the Work Instructions and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines

•Identify and bring to the attention of management any documentation errors including Bills of Material (BOM’s), quality documents, and work instructions

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

•Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

•Stand/walk/bend throughout workday

•Lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 80 lbs.

•Operate powered industrial lifts at heights of up to 30 feet

•Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate

Must have:

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Flexibility with working hours based on business needs

PREFERRED SKILLS

•Basic working knowledge of production/warehousing/distribution standard concepts, practices, and procedures preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•No experience required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 1 year of powered industrial truck operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred*

*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer

•At least 1 year of experience with incoming and outgoing receiving of parts preferred

•At least 1 year of experience using hand tools to assemble or repair product preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

PREFERRED EDUCATION

•High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
